|Recommended: YesWe have enjoyed our time at Kirkway. — The overall upkeep of the grounds and buildings were great. My only complaint is as we are at the end of our year's lease agreement, and are waiting the completion of our house that is being built, we are now forced to go month to month at Kirkway until our house is completed. I understand that month to month monthy rent is usually more than a year lease, but the increase we are going to have to pay is ridiculous it is over a 300 increase or about 20 that we are going to have pay. That increase is pretty steep for a couple retired teachers who also have to pay for movers.
Thank you for your review. I am happy to know that you were pleased with your home here at Kirkway and have enjoyed your stay. I understand your feelings regarding the month-to-month fee; however, it is a standard policy in property management. It is a policy that is actually an advantage to both parties; as it prevents the resident from having to commit to a lease term that goes beyond their need while limiting exposure to vacancy for the landlord/property owner. Large numbers of month-to-month lease terms make it difficult for owners to predict potential move-outs, resulting in vacancies that could have been marketed and planned for. I hope this provides a bit more of an understanding of the month-to-month policy.
While it is unfortunate that you are leaving, I wish you all the best, and the opportunity to make countless beautiful memories in your new home. By the way, thank you both for your time, dedication and sacrifice through your years of teaching. Teachers are a very special breed and deserve to know how much they are appreciated.

|Recommended: YesBeautiful community — I love living here. The neighborhood has a lot to offer and is a beautiful complex. It is quiet and there is a lot of parking. Maintenance is super friendly too.

|Recommended: YesMore than a thumbs up. — I feel very fortunate to live in a community where the maintenance people and their dedication is more than just 5 star. They have no problem if they need to go out of their way for you. Today was seasonal maintenance day for my zone and retiring from machining I can appreciate the crew working like a fine oiled machine. Keep up the good work guys.

|Recommended: YesGreat place for families OR adults — So much to do, very responsive staff. It's the nicest apartment I've ever lived in, nicer than the condo I just sold. Obviously, there are tons of kids in the neighborhood, but it hasn't been a problem, and I live right across from the pool playground. All of my neighbors are awesome, the maintenance guys are great, the office staff is wonderful. We use the common area patio ALL the time, even had my son's college grad party there. The complex is beautiful and clean, I always feel proud to show it off. Great place to live.

|Recommended: NoWell kept, friendly, unorganized move in process — Everyone seems friendly, there are lots of kids around and my kids are enjoying that. The grounds are well kept. The interior of the unit seems to be a little cheap. Our kitchen cabinet drawers are having issues opening and closing. The shower floor in the master bath is extremely noisy and squeaky when someone is standing on it, you can hear it from the lower level of the unit ie taking a shower . The carpet up the stairs and in the hallway is obviously worn. Also, the fact that you have a 7 fee every time you pay your rent is concerning. Also, the move in process wasn't smooth with the office staff. The office staff is very friendly but seems like they don't really know what's going on. We've been here less than a week so a lot of this can change.
Good morning Kayla, thank you for your review. I am so pleased to hear that the kids are enjoying the community and making new friends, I'm sure that they will enjoy the new playground and of course, the pool when it opens up in early June.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Please be sure to get your Move-In Inventory Checklist turned in so that we can make any necessary repairs and adjustments as quickly as possible. The drawers and shower pan should not take long to correct and although I did not notice any wear in the carpet, I am happy to have our carpet cleaning contractor come in and maybe do a power scrub treatment to the stairs and hallway for you.
With regard to our office team, I assure you that they are very knowledgeable, provide award winning customer service and impeccable attention to detail. I see that it was Debbie; our assistant manager, that reached out to you when a floor plan that offered a basement became available after you had already applied for one of our brand new floor plans that do not offer the basement feature. She knew that you had requested brand new but also knew that the added storage the basement offers was another feature that was important to you while you are in between homes. The many floor plans and phases of our community offer so many options and sometimes it can be difficult to choose but I hope that the added space the basement proves beneficial to you during your stay here at Kirkway.

|Recommended: YesNice and Fairly Quiet Community — They are one of the nicest apartments I've ever been in. The community is nicely kept with quite a few amenities. We loved the playground they had there along with the dog park. They are one of the few apartments that allow larger dogs so that is why we chose them. Though we moved soon after, Kirkway also started have a different food truck once a week so that was a nice. The maintenance team was also fantastic and would very quickly meet our needs I would recommend these apartments to families and people who have pets.

|Recommended: YesThese Townhouse apartments are absolutely gorgeous. Floor plans were very well thought out and are great. I hear “no” noise from next door, which is big in my book. The maintenance is excellent here. Management is also excellent The amenities are fabulous. Love it here

|Recommended: YesIt's like living at a vacation resort — There are so many amenities and we feel so safe We also love seeing the kids running around and playing Kirkway is a very high-end, family friendly, and well kept community. The management and maintenance are kind, professional, and extremely timely. The quality of Kirkway is unmatched, in my opinion, and the rent is very reasonable for all they offer. We are extremely blessed by God to be able to live here

|Recommended: YesQuiet, family friendly neighborhood apartment complex. — It's very quiet and family friendly. The maintenance staff is excellent and responds quickly to maintenance requests. There is lots of parking available and the location is great as well.

The apartments feel much more like a spacious townhouse than an apartment. Great community and I think it's great that they put together community activities that everyone can be a part of. |Recommended: YesGreat Experience — Very welcoming community We have met many friendly neighbors in the first few weeks we have been here. It is a very family friendly and dog friendly community. The grounds are maintained well and if there is an issue the maintenance staff responds quickly. There is always parking available near our home. The pool up keep is great and the playground is sanitized regularly. The one thing that I have noticed is that when there are not poop bags available in the dog park there seems to be more people not picking up after their pets.
